English:

This week you have a writing challenge and a spoken language challenge – you will need one or two members of your family to join in with the conversation tasks.

You will need to write one piece of informative writing and one piece of imaginative writing.

Spellings:

Once you have practised writing them, try putting them into a sentence too.

Science:

Reactions in your body.

This week you will be looking at what happens when you become nervous or scared and also the changes the body goes through during puberty.

Life Skills:

Planning a bus journey.

Last week you planned a journey for a day out on a train, this week you are going to plan a journey on a bus. Where would you like to visit this time?

Food Tech:

A tasty treat is in store this week. Follow the recipe to make these quick and easy coconut macaroons.

Maths:

This week we are using data to make a bar chart and pictogram. You will also be able to answer questions about these types of charts too.

Topic:

The world of Harry Potter and Newt Scamander is full of fantastic beasts and creatures. Your activity this week is to choose two of the creatures and compare them using descriptive language.

PE:

Last week we shared some links for Supermovers to help keep you active and enhance your wellbeing. This week we would like you to try some each day as part of your PE lessons too 😊

Sensory:

Time to relax at the end of the week.

This is the last week of term 3 and I have been so impressed by the high standard of work sent in to me each week – well done and thank you for your hard work.

As always, you can send in any work you have completed by emailing documents (or you can take a photo and email that) to me via homelearning@ifield.kent.sch.uk and I can give you feedback on all your awesome efforts.

Any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me at college via the email above,

Miss Russell 😊
