Monday 29^th June  

Life skills – put some washing in the washing machine and put the washing machine on to wash the clothes. Complete the worksheet to sequence how to do the washing by cutting out the cards and putting them in the correct order. Then write a sentence to go with each picture.

Maths – complete some of the maths workbook place value and counting sheets.

Reading – read a favourite book or listen to an adult read a book to you.

Cooking – make flap jacks using the recipe.

Tuesday 30^th June

Maths – complete some of the maths workbook place value and counting sheets.

English – Look at the front cover of Handa’s Surprise (English Tuesday worksheet). Name the different fruit in the basket. Make a Handa’s Surprise basket with the fruit. Use senses to explore the fruits. Say what colours the fruits are, how the skin feels, what it tastes like etc.

Reading – read a favourite book or listen to an adult read a book to you.

Wednesday 1^st July

Make a fruit skewer using different fruits.

Science – read through the science PowerPoint. Play sounds bingo game. Go on a walk round the house and garden to hear different sounds. Make the good listening ears headband.

Write the story of Handa’s surprise in your own words.

Geography – read the PowerPoint about Kenya. Explore some different products that come from Kenya – coffee, mango, sweet potatoes, tea.  Make a hot drink with adult supervision e.g. tea, coffee, hot chocolate.

Art – the theme is fruit and vegetables.

1. Make a sculpture using different vegetables.
2. Make some vegetables from marzipan and paint them with food colouring when they are dry.
3. Arrange the marzipan vegetables into a sculpture.
