We have a growing and dynamic therapy team, including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistants. Some members of the team are provided by the Health Service and others work directly for the school, including the Speech and Language Therapy Team, also known as the SLIC Team (Speech Language Interaction and Communication). Our Occupational Therapist provides support with Sensory Processing difficulties one day a week.
Our three Speech and Language Therapists are an integral part of the school, each being assigned specific classes, and working closely with these pupils and class teams throughout the year. They attend termly pupil progress meetings for joint planning and monitoring of targets and interventions. They provide annual reports and attend many EHCP and Annual Review meetings, and are also present at most school events including parents' evenings.
