Wear it loud. Wear it proud. Because we stand brighter, together.

On Friday 9th October 2026, Ifield School will be celebrating World Mental Health Awareness Day to promote mental health and wellbeing in children and young people. Ifield School are taking part in the Young Minds ‘Hello Yellow’ campaign. Young Minds is a UK based charity which provides mental health and wellbeing support for all children and young people.

In support of Hello Yellow, all pupils and staff are invited to wear yellow on Friday 9th October 2026. This could be an item of clothing, such as a yellow t-shirt, jumper or tracksuit. Alternatively, pupils and staff could wear a yellow accessory to show their support for the campaign, which could include wearing yellow socks or a yellow hair band.

Please do not feel obliged to donate, all pupils and staff can attend school, wearing yellow for this day. If you would like to make a small donation that will go directly to Young Minds, please follow this link: https://fundraise.youngminds.org.uk/fundraisers/IfieldSchool/hello-yellow

All money raised will be greatly received by Young Minds and will be used to continue their much-needed work.
