Parents
This section of the website is aimed at proving information for parents who are choosing a new school for their child, and also for parents whose children already attend Ifield School.
Our prospectus will help you find out about the life of the school. We hope that you find it useful, informative and reassuring. There is also information about OfSTED reports, Governors reports, our very active and supportive Parents, Teachers and Friends Association, and some useful links to other informative websites. Alternatively you may be interested in our Music Consort or the calendar of important dates.
Once your child has a place at the school we will endeavour to make you and your child feel welcome and be part of our school community. We believe that education is a partnership between the children, the parents and the school. Our real strengths lie in the positive atmosphere created by the hardworking and dedicated staff, who create a happy, secure and challenging environment.
We are committed to supporting parents and we understand that as parents of a special needs child you may need additional advice and support to ensure that your child gets the best chances in life. We can also arrange for you to meet informally with other parents who will tell you how Ifield supports their child.
Staff from various support services, such as Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Advisory Teachers for Visual and Hearing Impaired regularly visit the school and parents can also make appointments to meet with them.
If you have any questions or enquiries please do not hesitate to contact the school.
