Meet the staff at our school.

Currently we have 32.25 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) qualified teachers including the Headteacher, 2 Deputy Heads and 2 Assistant Heads. We also have 2.6 FTE unqualified teachers. The teacher:pupil ratio is 1 to 5.7 children.

We have full time equivalent of 54.5 Teaching Assistants. We also have a full time Speech and Language Therapists.

The average adult to child ratio is 1 adult to 2.1 children. The ratio may vary slightly from class to class taking into account the age and complexity of needs of the pupils.

Staff have a wide range of specialist knowledge and experience to deliver an appropriate curriculum to pupils with a range of needs including moderate, severe, profound and complex learning difficulties.

We have an ongoing programme of professional development to ensure that staff maintain and develop their professional expertise.

In addition we have two Speech and Language Therapists and two Assistants who provide the equivalent of a full time Assistant.
