Pupils > Music Consort
The Music Consort, founded and is led by its conductor Mrs Cregan, began some 14 years ago when Mrs Cregan asked if she could teach a boy to play the recorder at break time. The consort has had much success winning trophies and being recorded at professional studios resulting in cassettes and CDs being published for sale. They have performed (in addition to the community events) in competition at the Dominion Theatre in London (winning a bronze award), the Newbury Theatre and various other theatres and studios in Kent.
Music is taught throughout the the school following the National Curriculum. It is used as a therapy for many children and for performances to be shared by the local and county community. The school's consort are well known throughout the county.
